A few tips!
Naples Airport to Sorrento
Airport Taxi: €90 - €120 depending on traffic, approx 1 hour. There’s no Uber in this area.
Bus: €26 return, approx 1 hour 15mins depending on traffic. Use the Curreri airport bus that runs direct between Sorrento and the airport. The bus stops in all the towns of the Sorrento Peninsula. The ticket can be purchased in advance on the Curreri website or directly on board. At Naples airport the bus leaves from the space dedicated to tourist buses. Once you exit the terminal, follow signs for Alibus, go past the taxi rank and bus stop, then turn right at the sign for tourist buses (bus turistici). If staying in Sorrento city centre, get off at the stop called Sorrento - Train Station.
Hydrofoil/Ferry: From Naples airport you can get on the Alibus or take a taxi (approximately 20 min, €20–€25) to Molo Beverello. From there, you can take the ferry/hydrofoil to Sorrento, which takes around 35–45 minutes and costs about €16 one-way.
Train: You can also take the train from Naples city centre to Sorrento. If arriving at the airport you need to take the Alibus shuttle into Naples train station first. Approx 2 hours.

Sorrento Recommendations
Piazza Tasso: This is the main square and hub in the city center, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and shops, a good spot to soak up the atmosphere and close to Corso Italia. The church we’ll be married in is just a 2 minute walk from here.
Corso Italia: This is the main shopping street in Sorrento, it’s pedestrianised and lined with shops, boutiques, restaurants, and bars. You can also find great shopping and little places to eat and drink in the smaller streets and alleyways branching off from Corso Italia.
Marina Grande: This is Sorrento’s charming fishing village, at sea level beneath the cliffs. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk downhill from Piazza Tasso, or you can take the public lift near Villa Comunale, there’s also a taxi rank down there if you prefer taking that back.
Chiesa di San Francesco: Explore the cloisters and then take a walk to the beautiful terrace for views of the Bay of Naples and Sorrento.
